Recently, the Major Project Approval Seminar on Automotive Control of the Jilin University, and the meeting for final acceptance of the “Theory, Method and Key Technology of Automotive Control” Innovation Team of the Ministry of Education was held in Nanhu Hotel. Academician Chai Tianyou, Professor Zhang Zhaotian, Director and Deputy Director of the Information ,Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Professor Wang Chenghong, Director of the Third Division of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Academician Gui Weihua of Central South University, Academician Li Jun of FAW Technology Center, Academician Li Yuanyuan, President of Jilin University, and Dong Deming, assistant to the president and Director of Office of Science and Technology attended the meeting.
At the beginning, President Li Yuanyuan delivered a welcome speech and warmly welcomed the experts on behalf of the Jilin University. In his speech, he thought highly of the achievements made by Professor Chen Hong from the College of Communication Engineering and the scientific research team she led, and at the same time put forward requirements to the teachers present at the conference, hoping that they could use the seminar as a platform to further promote the research work.
At the meeting, Professor Chen Hong made a proposal report on the approval of major project on automotive control and a concluding report on the “Theory, Method and Key Technology of Automotive Control” Innovation Team of the Ministry of Education. The participating experts inspected the laboratory of the automotive control innovation team and provided valuable suggestions on the approval of the major automotive control project. After detailed discussions, they unanimously made final project acceptance of the “Theory, Method and Key Technology of Automotive Control” Innovation Team of the Ministry of Education. The original research results of the team led by Professor Chen Hong in related fields are currently playing a leading role domestically, and some of the results can be judged as advanced under international standard.
